Today we received a call from Nick who lost his Gold Diamond Wedding Ring at Little Bay. Both Nick and his wife were worried the ring was NOT going to be found, they then search the internet for metal detecting services and found lost jewellery recovery worldwide, and seen we are ring finders. I started the Lost Jewellery Recovery using my XP Deus ll Metal Detector with the Quest X-Pointer Max Pin pointer by my side. I searched one 10 by 10 metres grid just as Nick got to location. I explained a large chunk of the search area for the lost ring has been covered. Nick then said Great thats half the search area and Nick explained where he was sitting and what he did, with that information I extended the search area. 5 minutes later I get a great T.ID reading of 50+ on the XP Deus ll Metal Detector, reaching down for my pin pointer we instantly see the target is only 2 inches deep and just as i move the sand away, I spot a ring with 2 diamonds exposed. I look back at Nick as he's on the phone with his wife and I said Nick we are on the GOLD mate. Nick jumped up and ran over and seen his lost wedding ring just 2 inches deep in the sand that was lost the day before. I reached down and pull the ring from the sand, I then take a knee and place the ring back on Nicks finger and he said, THANK YOU so much for coming out, you got here so fast. His wife was also on the phone with their child saying daddy has got the ring back.
